Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about junk removal in Raleigh and the Triangle. Can't find your answer? Call us at (984) 983-8500.

Pricing & Costs

How much does junk removal cost in Raleigh?

Pricing is based on the volume your items take up in our truck. Our service-call minimum is $95 (covers the truck and crew for 1-2 small items). An eighth truck is $149+, quarter truck $259+, half truck $439+, three-quarter truck $619+, and a full truck is $799+. Those are curbside prices — in-home pickup adds a small posted access charge you see before you book. Outside ~20 miles our minimum pickup size increases (shown at the address step) — never a surcharge.

Are there any hidden fees or surcharges?

The price you confirm at booking is the price you pay. Before you confirm, we show any applicable access charge (garage or stairs), heavy-material charge (concrete, dirt, or shingles beyond 1.5 tons at $54/ton), or same-day charge. Nothing is ever added after booking — and there are no fuel surcharges or per-mile fees, anywhere we serve. If the job turns out to be less than quoted, you pay less.

Why is curbside cheaper?

If your items are already outside and reachable, we skip the in-home labor — you pay less. Move items to the driveway before we arrive and we drop the access charge.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Every quote is free and comes with no obligation. Book online or call us at (984) 983-8500, describe what you need removed, and we'll give you an honest price.

Do you recycle mattresses?

Yes — Wake County charges us $15 per mattress for responsible recycling and we absorb it. Competitors surcharge $20-40; we don't.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is collected before we haul. For larger jobs, a 50% deposit secures your booking.

Booking & Scheduling

Do you offer same-day junk removal?

Yes! We offer same-day pickup for most jobs in the Triangle area when you book early in the day. Next-day appointments are almost always available.

How do I book a pickup?

You can book online through our website in about 2 minutes, or call us at (984) 983-8500. We'll schedule a pickup window that works for you.

What are your hours of operation?

We're open 7 days a week, 8 AM to 8 PM.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes. We understand plans change. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty. Just let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedule.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We often have same-day or next-day availability. For guaranteed scheduling, booking 1-2 days ahead is recommended. For large projects like estate cleanouts, we suggest booking a week in advance.

What We Take

What items do you accept?

We take almost everything: furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, construction debris, hot tubs, pianos, sheds, fencing, and general household junk. If it's not hazardous, we can probably haul it.

What items can't you take?

We cannot accept hazardous materials including wet paint, chemicals, solvents, asbestos, medical waste, or ammunition. Dried paint cans are fine. If you're unsure about an item, just ask us.

Do you take construction debris?

Yes. Drywall, lumber, tile, flooring, roofing materials, concrete, and general demolition debris — we handle it all. We also offer recurring pickups for ongoing renovation projects.

Can you remove items from upstairs, basements, or attics?

Absolutely. Our crew handles all the heavy lifting no matter where items are located — upstairs bedrooms, basements, attics, garages, or backyards. Stairs and basement pickups add a small posted access charge (+15%, minimum $40, capped at $120) that you see in your quote before you book.

Our Process

How does the junk removal process work?

It's simple: you book online or call us, we arrive during your scheduled window, you show us what needs to go, we load everything into our truck, and we clean up the area. Most jobs take 30 minutes to a few hours.

Do I need to be home during the pickup?

We prefer you or a representative to be present so you can point out exactly what to take. If that's not possible, we can sometimes work with photos and instructions — just call us to discuss.

What happens to my junk after you take it?

We sort every load at our facility. Usable items are donated to local charities, recyclable materials go to certified recycling facilities, and the rest is responsibly disposed of. We're committed to keeping as much as possible out of the landfill.

Do you clean up after removing items?

Yes. After loading, we sweep or tidy the area where items were removed. You shouldn't have to do any cleanup after we leave.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Holly Springs, Garner, Knightdale, Morrisville, Fuquay-Varina, Chapel Hill, Clayton, Zebulon, Wendell, Smithfield, Hillsborough, and Angier — covering the Triangle and surrounding towns across North Carolina.

Is there a travel fee for locations outside Raleigh?

No — no fuel surcharges and no per-mile fees. Travel is always included everywhere we serve, and volume pricing is identical in every town. Outside ~20 miles our minimum pickup size increases (shown at the address step) — never a surcharge.

Do you serve businesses and commercial properties?

Yes. We offer commercial junk removal for offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and construction sites. We can handle one-time cleanouts or recurring service for ongoing projects.
