About Our Construction Debris Removal Service
Wake County convenience centers explicitly do not accept construction debris from contractors, haulers, or businesses. If you're running a commercial construction or renovation project in Wake County, you need a licensed private hauler. Oak City Hauling provides live-load construction debris removal across the Triangle — a faster, more flexible alternative to dumpster rental.
Here's how live-load works: our truck arrives on your schedule, your crew loads debris directly (or we load it), and we haul it to the appropriate private disposal facility. No dumpster sitting in your parking lot for a week. No street placement permits from the City of Raleigh. No overage charges when the bin fills up. One call, same-day service, debris gone.
Different materials go to different facilities. Drywall, lumber, concrete, metal framing, roofing materials, and tile all have specific disposal and recycling routes. We know which Wake County and Triangle-area facilities accept which materials, and we route accordingly. Concrete and masonry go to crushing facilities. Clean wood goes to recycling. Metal goes to scrap recovery. Mixed C&D goes to licensed transfer stations like Capital Waste on Warehouse Drive.
The Triangle's commercial construction pipeline is strong — downtown Raleigh infill, North Hills expansion, RTP campus redevelopment, and suburban commercial build-out in Morrisville, Apex, and Cary. General contractors, subcontractors, and renovation crews all need debris removed on their schedule, not the dumpster company's schedule.
We offer contractor accounts with volume pricing for recurring projects. Same-day scheduling aligned to your job-site phases. Licensed Wake County Solid Waste Hauler — we carry the Hauler Privilege License that the county requires. COI provided on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I take commercial C&D to the Wake County convenience center?
Wake County explicitly excludes commercial construction debris from all convenience centers. Their policy states: "Construction debris is NOT accepted from renters, haulers or contractors/businesses." You need a licensed private hauler.
How is live-load different from a dumpster rental?
Live-load means our truck arrives on your schedule, debris is loaded directly, and we leave the same day. No dumpster on-site, no street permits, no overage charges, no waiting for pickup.
Do you offer contractor accounts?
Yes. We offer volume pricing for contractors with recurring debris removal needs. One point of contact, consistent crew, and priority scheduling across your projects.
Do you separate materials for recycling?
Yes. Concrete goes to crushing facilities, clean wood to recycling, metal to scrap recovery. We route materials to the appropriate facilities to maximize diversion from the landfill.
